iPropertiesWizard (iPropWiz) is an application that replaces Inventor's standard iProperties dialogue box. It takes this functionality further by allowing the user to define which properties they will be presented. Extraneous properties can be eliminated from the dialogue leaving only those that the user wants to see. sDotson.com's iProperties Wizard takes one more step by offering the user the chance to rename the properties by providing an alias for the property name. This allows the user to, for example, rename Web Link to something a bit more useful such as "Stock Room Location".
V2 of iPropWiz adds the following features to the first release.
- Password Protection - allows the CAD manager to set up properties for a group and prevent users from changing the setup.
- Lists for each Property - users can set up a list of commonly selected values for each property. Options allow users to add to these lists on the fly if additional values are required. These lists can be located on a server and accessible to all users on the network.
- Seperate Setups of Each FIle format - V2 now allows users to setup properties for each file format (IDW,IAM,IPT,IPN).
- Calendar Control - user can select dates from a Microsoft standard calendar control.
- Required Properties - users can select certian properties to be required or iPropWiz will not allow changes to any property.

(note: if you are uprgading from any 2.0.x version simply run the installer and uncheck the first 2 boxes (install default INI files and reset registry) when installing. It will update the DLL without affecting your setup.)
